Privacy policy

Flanker Logistics ("Flanker", "we") is a freight brokerage at 800 SE 4th Avenue, Suite 702, Hallandale Beach, FL 33009. This policy explains what information we handle on this website, when you work with us, and in the tool we use to publish posts on our own social media accounts.
This website
- No accounts, no analytics, no advertising. The site doesn't ask you to sign in, and it runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
- Requesting a quote opens your own email app with a message addressed to info@flankerlogistics.com. Nothing is sent until you send that email, and we receive only what you choose to send.
- Tracking a shipment takes you to our tracking portal with the shipment number you entered.
- Services that help show the site: it's served through Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver and protect the site; it loads fonts from Google Fonts, a map library from cdnjs and map tiles from OpenFreeMap, which receive the usual technical details of your browser's request. Links to Calendly, LinkedIn and Instagram take you to those services, under their own policies.
When you work with us
To quote and move your freight, we use the business contact and shipment details you give us, such as names, phone numbers, email addresses, pickup and delivery addresses, and what's being shipped. We share them only as needed to move the shipment: with carriers, and with the systems we use to manage shipments, email and tracking. We keep them as long as needed for the shipment, our records and the law.
Our social media publishing tool
We use our own software to publish posts on Flanker's own LinkedIn and Instagram accounts. It connects only to accounts Flanker owns or manages, and only to publish what we have approved.
- Instagram: it reads our own account's ID and username and how many posts it may publish today, and it publishes our posts and stories. It doesn't read or send messages, read or write comments, follow or like anything, or collect information about anyone else.
- LinkedIn: it reads the name and member ID of the profile it posts for, and publishes that profile's posts. It doesn't read other people's profiles, messages or posts.
- Images for a post are stored briefly on Flanker's own storage so Instagram can fetch them, and are deleted automatically within about a day.
The tool collects no personal information from people who view, like or comment on our posts.
Selling and sharing
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.
Your choices and deleting your data
You can ask us what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing info@flankerlogistics.com from the address we know you by. We'll answer within 30 days. We may need to keep some records, such as shipment records, where the law requires.
Our social media publishing tool holds no information about anyone outside Flanker. If you have connected an account to it by mistake, you can remove its access from that service's settings (on Instagram: Settings, then Website permissions, then Apps and websites) and email us to confirm we hold nothing.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here with a new effective date.
